During our 5 days blissful meditation retreat, you will go through systematic, progressive & genuinely fruitful learning and practice of meditation at our vibrant and peaceful meditation place in Kathmandu, Nepal. The practice of meditation will be supported and enriched by excellent yoga practices, energy- awakening tantra practices and illuminating spiritual philosophy classes.

About Location :


Our meditation school and retreat center is located in a peaceful suburb named Budhanilkantha, which lies 12 km north of Kathmandu valley. Situated on a beautiful hilltop in the verdant foothills of the majestic Shivapuri mountain, it is a peaceful place filled with vibrant spiritual energy that provides strong support for profound spiritual practices. Budhanilkantha is a charming town in the norther part of Kathmandu. It is famous for being a spiritual and religious centre for Hindus and Buddhists. It is also a much loved place for the practice of yoga and meditation.

Our place is easily accessible being just 15 km from Tribhuvan International Airport and 12 km from the tourist hub Thamel. All the important spiritual places and tourist places of Kathmandu valley are within easy reach from here. The most convenient means of transport to our place is taxi.  

How  to reach our place from Budhanilkantha??

we are just 2 km from the main centre of Budhanilkantha. There is a very famous temple called “Budhanilkatha Temple”. When you come from Thamel or Tribhuvan International Airport, it will be easy to locate our place by giving reference of Budhanilkantha Temple.

About 200 meters before reaching Budhanilkantha Chowk (main centre), there is a place called Deuba Chowk. Take a right turn  at Deuba Chowk. Our place is about 2 km from there. By taxi, it will take about 7 minutes whereas by walking it will take about 30 minutes. The name of the place we are located is called Badeli. Once you reach Badeli village, you will come to a small temple called Radha Krishna Mandir on your left. There you will see our signpost. Please follow the direction as mentioned in the signpost. 

Another easy way to reach our place is by following Google Map. 

About Food :


Vegetarian Nepali style meal twice a day prepared with fresh & close-to-organic food items

  • Light snacks consisting of fresh fruits and selected dry fruits
  • Herbal tea, organic coffee, hot lemon with honey, milk
  • Foods that are nutritious, easy to digest, full of prana (life energy) and which promote sattvic qualities of body and mind.
  • khaliSuch foods will help to enrich the quality and depth of our practices.
  • Outside food, junk food are not allowed
  • Non-vegetarian food, eggs, onion, garlic, milk tea, smoking and drinking are not allowed

Accommodation :


For accommodation, we have a guest house with six rooms. There are double sharing rooms as well as single rooms. Each bed is for one person. Rooms are cosy and comfortable with basic facilities. Fans and heaters are available according to the season. Restrooms and showers are available on sharing basis. There is 24 hours hot water and free internet available. A/C is neither available nor necessary as weather here is mild throughout the year. 

We have two beautiful gardens where you can practice yoga and meditation in open space. One garden lies on eastern part from where you can see beautiful evergreen forest and another garden lies on southern part of meditation centre from where you can enjoy panoramic view of Kathmandu city and big green hills.
